Ben Saunders has kicked 46 goals in 8 matches with Curtin Uni. Surely he would be a good get with his record at South?. Not sure why he left.

bens a great FF no doubt but I think he pulled the pin due to his legs not being able to stand up to WAFL level. Like when Brad Smith gave it a way, his knees were shot for WAFL but went down to harvey bulls and kicked bags down there for a couple of seasons.

Have to disagree, DF. White was frustrating but would love to have him at the club if fit. We have no other tall forward capable of kicking 5-7 goals in a game. Otherwise, agree that we need to recruit at least 4 top notch players. Easier said than done, though, it seemed that last season there weren't that many really good players out there. The only marquee signing was Marsh to Subi. (who else) Whatever we do, if we get wind that Subi are interested in a player, just forget it and find someone else. The state of the WAFL now is that you can only finalise your list after the AFL clubs and Subi have finalised theirs.

Freezin if you are a tall ruckman and been on an AFL or a tall forward and been on an AFL list you should be able to play WAFL.

Angus never made it AFL level because he was as timid as a mouse.
White had a body like Tarzan and played like Jane.

They were recruited to do a job and were bitter disappointments.

Third ACL left knee. Sadly, after coming back from the second he had lost much of his pace and agility. Was getting by with his superb reading of the play but getting caught out on the run.
It puts his future in footy in some doubt.

Belly has hurt the same knee that saw him miss 2 years.
He is a ripper young man. Does not deserve this.
