Yes Lucifer, that was a very good article and paints a good picture as to what is happening.

Also explains the reason why 29 players are no longer there.

Some very good players are no longer there for a very good reason.

Looks like Sam Butler will come into the mix to play Saturday after he was left out by the Eagles. Ash Smith has been named by the Eagles along with a list of others so he may still be part of the team at Claremont oval on Saturday. Two handy AFL players there who do put in when they come back to WAFL (Smith more now than ever).

Ash Smith out - Houghton (if he looks dinkim) in

Bateman in - ? out

Pressing for a spot:

Donnovan (great when on song)
Deaves (leading ressies goal kicking)
Busher (not yet)

Hug
Richardson
Chrimes
Manuel

Leyendeakers
Johnston (still know nothing about him)

Lesson (will have to look interested and show more desire though)
Arangio
Mather

So who is the out for Bateman and who is the in for Ash Smith (Houghton or Johnston)

Another big game from Tunbridge and McInnes could see the end of them for us. Especially if wc keep on going like they are. Best to both of them.

Butler injured

BTW - I as a Perth supporter am nervous the bubble will burst. I am actually already feeling nervous about Sat, and you know what; if they win on Sat I will be nervous the week after and the week after.

I have been drinking a Shite load more than normal and I think it has something to do with this under the surface anxiety of my club hitting a big brick wall shortly. Much easier to support from the bottom.

Must work more on the principle of working on my circle of influence and not on my circle of concern.

Saying that I think that's what the club from CEO-Coach-Players-Support Staff have been doing.

Keep leading the way everyone.

One week at a time. Maybe even one day at a time. - Not suggesting we break out into kum by yah.

Important to get to the game this week folks. Even those of you who look forward to Pie on the Coaches face. You can both enjoy if we win and if we loose. Everyone bring a family member.

Lucifer wrote: Good feature story by Ross Lewis in the budget too. Go to the media tonic link to view! Puts alot of the reason for Perth 2013 success down to Marty and the assistant coaches helping out McMahon. new fitness coach has also played a big part by the sound of it.

The players effectively didn't have a fitness coach last year with the bloke who was employed to do it taking up the midfield role. Now that there's actual assistant coaches it's making a difference.

Well done to bushy for making the side! Hasn't played leage since 2011 and has been solid in the ressies this year. he needs to take the opportunity as there may not be too many this year with the amount of young talent on display in the ressies!
