And sorry though I did watch the game today with great interest (and half of the reserves)I am not sure how Johnston went today. I think I am getting him listed as 36 and Sinclair with number 46 in Ressies mixed up.

We beat them at Claremont 2 years ago. We normally play ok at Claremont. It's the home games where they kill us.

David Johnston has an injured ankle.

I agree those midfielders are putting pressure on the League boys. I am sure they will get a chance.

Talking about Chance, he did the running today, so he may be good to go against Claremont.

I can't believe the change in Joel Houghton, he is playing some great footy in the ressies.

As for Deaves he is playing like his future depends on it, and of course it does. But he should be commended his attitude and form are first rate and he may be considered shortly.

Good to see Joel Leeson get some touches today.

It was great to beat the eagles bitches. The back line held up well. Risol possibly BOG. Ranstead, Ted and Kane all good. The forward line was active all day with Stack and Bevan each kicking 4. The midfield was a bit hot and cold with EP getting a lot of the ball. Dene White very good along with Ali Smith and Florio.
I think the key to the win was we were able to keep Smith and Johnson to very quiet games.

Great win against a team that looked pretty solid on paper and who has dealt us some thrashings in the last 2 or 3 years.

Got hand it to Dene White who has been a bit of a whipping boy in years gone by, i reckon he's been in our best five every game this year, and kudos also goes to Ransted for his game today.

Great to win all three grades today. Massive win considering we come up against the Tigers and the Falcons in the coming weeks. Taking it one week at a time but there more more positives then negatives today and looking forward to the boys having a red hot crack against the benchmark in the competition a week Saturday.

Yep great win on Anzac day.
Reckon the only thing we have to sort out is getting another genuine tall down back.
That for mine is the missing link.
Clearly Nick Kane was out of his depth,physical and height in the first term on Smith.
Now im not suggesting give Kane the boot but perhaps when we play the teams with the bigger bodied forwards we may have to take a "horses for courses" approach.

Anyway big test in the coming weeks against 2 teams that we have to beat if we want to play finals because both those teams will be there come September,Subi also will be a big test at Leederville,3 games away from the comforts of home!
