With White out for 8 weeks, who is going to kick our goals are do we need a different forward line structure?
I'm a fan of Lennon Marlin slipping into the FF position. But will need a lot more space to lead into. Is there anyone else we could use as a key forward?

Yes I think Marlin is the man. Give him a go at FF and hopefully Garstone will be back soon at CHF.
Marshall Jones is the other tall option but lacks a presence. Collard has been disappointing, and surprisingly Cary has been ok so far, especially with his forward pressure.

I think the club has to make a call on White a 10 point player that spends more than half his playing time injured on the sidelines.
Can he be put on a long term injury list and his points used elsewhere?
With him and Garstone out injured all the time what hope do we have of applying pressure on any defence to kick a winning score.None!

There may be another Brenton Cooper out there somewhere.

I agree that Marlin is the best option. He has been in great form in the Ressies and getting better with every game.
I am disappointed with Marshall Jones. He has the physique, and all the potential to be a key player but sadly he seems to just go through the motions at best. Perhaps he is not interested.

30+, I believe that White would be off the list for the period that he is injured. The problem in my view is where do you find the replacement in the interim? I'm not sure that we could find another option at this stage of the season.

Hopefully our forward line ends up being more productive than the one that gave Bollenhagen the Ron Tucker but my god what a tale of woe the top goalkicking in our side has been. Paul Bevan the only highlight in a decade.

I do believe there are goals in the forward line but really only with a serious tall marking option cos that is what the rest feed off.

Carey has been busy but he also used to be deadly and that certainly deserted him last week. Cal Collard is going terrible but we know he has the talent. Marshall is a tease I think.

We need Ninja to go nuts for a few weeks that's for sure.

And dare I say - are we missing Stacky and could we have brought in Papertalk now if he was around?

And a goal kicking midfielder would be handy - Burner can do that on his day.

Time to bring Spinks out of retirement?

Ha we wish, it is an indictment on us and our zone (said to WAFC) that we still think fondly of that one stolen year of Spinks. When did PFC zone last produce a mighty forward??? (Buddy excepted of course!!)

Yes Stack would be very handy right now.
I remember he kicked 7 last year at Joondalup. I bet WP were happy he wasn't playing last week.

you have some key forwards over the years includding:

Montgomerie
Baynes
Andrew Mc
Pau Maher

The club finished last with Cooper at full-forward, which also is not uncommon in football history. Tyson and Robertson both played in sides which got the wooden spoon for Subi and WP respectively; in general, the Demons, have lacked depth across the field.

As Perth supporters have often pointted out on here correctly, the ruck has been a probelm in my entire life-time. Only Ian Newman comes to mind as a ruckmen whom had an impact.
