We've had some decent jnr coaches come through the joint over the years and we've got one now in Andrew Ruck. I find it hard to be critical of the coaching group. I reckon they are pushing it up hill with a pointy stick because, as DD said on another topic, we are playing a team of kids who are not ready to take on the responsibilities thrust upon them. At least Earl and co. are teaching them to play and resisting taking the easy route of continually playing extras numbers behind the ball. And its not the kids letting us down either. It's the administrations failure to support the coaching team with the players this club needs to be competitive that's caused calamities like yesterday. And if Clown Shoes Atkins thinks everything is going to be hunky dory next season like he said on Dee Radio during the week with everyone back from injury and delisted ex-Demons busting to get back to the joint and so he can kick back and put his clown shoes up on the desk again he's delusional.

Having a fit squad to chose from will help us yes but it wont see us catapult up the ladder. We need a ruckman, key defender and tall forward. Will we get them? Probably not.

What is it with this club, under Jarnan in his first year we won 9 and a half games you would of thought there's some momentum going into his second year nope we go backwards and win the spoon through lack of recruiting and building on that effort.

Last year we won 7 games again no recruiting we are going to go with the kids ffs shock horror another spoon on the cards.

As for channelling Hawthorn with the line in the sand that's hogwash they were able to go forward through the draft picking up guns like Roughhead and Buddy unfortunately there ain't no coming back from this position.

Correct PN this club has no idea on how to build on a half decent year let alone what's needed to drag a team off the bottom of the ladder.
You watch the Clubs take on recruiting in 2018 will be getting these injured players back.
Which brings me to my next question, why does this club every year suffer so many season ending injuries?

In all seriousness , its time Atkins is either shown the door or leaves gracefully, as much as a SFFC legend as he is/was the word I have is that is he is hopeless administrator. apparently he was putting feelers out quietly for the South CEO job after arse clown Kemp got the flick, but was looked over due to his rep.

Spot on I believe there are rumblings behind the scenes. The bloke needs to move on and allow the club to move forward.

Brett Raponi has said on radio that has been giving some thought into returning to the WAFL in some capacity and understands that if it did happen it might be at a another club other than West Perth.

If MA did decide to move on at the end of the season Brett would be one of the first people I'd be speaking to.
