I know it doesn't mean you won't get drafted but I would have thought with all the young kids coming through maybe just one of them may have got an invite.

Are they as good as we get told or in fact as we judge them as supporters?

It's an interesting question. I think we've got some talent there but we get all excited about a cohort of fairly talented kids coming through at Perth for the first time in yonks but at Claremont they'd probably say "so what, happens every year".

We'll have another batch soon as the U16s progress.

I hope they all stay off the AFL radar.

And there lies the problem DF. Over the years I don't think we've been able to develop our own players to their potential.

There won't be much youth development if Perth go crazy window shopping in the VFL with their comp disintegrating next year....tho would be good for you boys in Tunbridge,Mzungu and McIness get the flick this year....Mzungu looked terrible in that GWS v Rich game last weekend...think the AFL has definitely past him now...

Will Jones and Trops be at PFC next year...have they signed for 2018?....where is Spencer White?..hope he doesn't do a Graham on you guys....

The word is that CJ intends to play on next season dependent on how well the club recruits.

Could the 12 points that is used on CJ be better utilised.

That's not having a dig at Jones performances either as they have been very good and his leadership and mentoring to the younger players has been first class in my opinion.

Freeing up 12 points though would be handy, especially if it was used on a ruckman.

I think White will be at Perth next year.

I'd prefer to save 10pts with Papertalk.

We may have a backup with McInnes.

Is that just your thought or have you heard something.
There is a chance Tunbridge, Wellingham and Butler could be available.
Some hard work needed.
And of course Muzungu could also become available.
Interesting off season looming.
