I remember saying over on another forum that JKT is not a loss from the 2012 squad as he hardly played. However when he is playing as he has done over the past 8 years at the Demons always added something extra.

Last week against the Royals was probably JKT's best game for the Lions. The week before against WP he did get a lot of possessions but most were in the back half of the ground.

JKT is in Perth's best 18 every week, to suggest otherwise is delusional
As 30+ said he would have been like a new recruit, fit and injury free
Why he left or was asked to move on, I have no idea
Was it a "culture" decision ?

Jacobs, Johnston, Murray and Donovan all playing ressies. Looks like Donovan has made way for Ash Smith I'd say as we now only have three players on the bench when you take out the four players listed above.

what a great win guys as a neutral went along & saw a very good game ...Perth teams of recent years would have thrown in the towel when SD got in front late, but u showed grit to get the candy on the end...top 4 beckons

A great, courageous win in what was a good game of footy. It would have been a travesty to have lost that. We probably made slightly less mistakes than Swans in that last 10 minutes and had built a big enough lead earlier to hang on. Thank you Stuart Parry for paying those 2 50m penalties as well. You owe us a few.

But after watching that third quarter I have to say Daniel Murray has to come into that team. Wes Lammie ran around like a 2 year old in that third quarter taking (and dropping a few) marks at will. We needed a marking presence in that backline as Swans got huge run out of the backline to pump that ball forward so often. All the great forward pressure we showed in that first half evaporated and Swans love running that ball down the middle.

I think they should really value that win against a quality opponent.

Didn't get there till half time, when we kicked the first two in the third i thought we were home and hosed, Swans got their game going and it end up being a thriller.

The game could of gone either way with both sides missing easy chances in the last quarter, good to see the boys snatch it when behind shows a bit of character.

I think this game highlights why we need Murray out there Lammie absolutely dominating the second half. Risol looks to be a great find as is Sketcher.

I thought the men in orange were sensational again today, especially in the last 5 mins when the game was on the line, geez they really know how to step it up in a tight game, they would be in my best tonite for sure!! Well done Perth = Finals bound
