I thought young Byrne, Ninyette and Papertalk showed a fair bit for you guys today Grassy, but yes overall it must have been frustrating for Perth supporters

It is not the fault of the players that were out there today we have gone backwards again. It seems to be the default tradition of this club. After a year of improvement we go backwards the following year. The fault lies with those in charge who let down the coach by not suring up the playing list to continue to improve and give us a chance to play finals. Any risk we can improve two or three years in a row? We might actually have a chance of playing finals, that's right finals!

Second poor performance in a row. Just didn't turn up for the first quarter which just gifted Swans a dream start. Don't know what they do to them at half time but getting going in third quarters has been a problem all season. Diabolical skills yesterday, particularly by foot. They really need to improve on that before next week.

Once again it was the youngsters who impressed me the most. Young Morisey fought hard yesterday in the backline as did John Levien after getting a savage whack early in friendly fire. Corey Byrne was outstanding. Handy debut by Papertalk. He looked alright.
