In: B Colledge, M Jones, M Sinclair, M Henderson, T Etto
Out: K Chester, T Gooch

Sinclair named at half back flank while Colledge was named at a half forward flank.

Wouldn't mind seeing Colledge spend some time in the forward 50.

Gee what a big game. They are there for the taking but I just can't see us taking advantage of it. Big ins with Sinclair and Colledge. Hopefully they both play. Sinclair has been named for the last 3 games but hasn't come up.

All the D's need to do is apply relentless pressure on the eagles squad players and they will eventually lose interest and go into personal protection mode. They are very susceptible to sledging and physical intimidation as they lack respect for and consider themselves well above the ordinary WAFL player. Get in their faces from the start and you'll get in their heads hopefully. A D's win over the Scum would be great for the comp and help put another nail in the alignment extension proposal.

Yes agreed Senior, as long as they don't pass it on to us.

Good luck boys I hope we win the first two and get smashed in the league. But I think it will be close. My info is two years old but at that time West Coast didn't want anything to do with a Perth alignment. I hope that is still the case.

We were weak today. When we needed to stand up and be counted for today we didn't.

Perth ended up with 6 more disposals per goal than the opposition.
Very disappointing with Perth's effort because it was a match they should have and needed to take the 4 points. An even first half apparently. The third quarter was poor and the end result is what it is. Would have been fantastic to see the Demons with the win and give the team some confidence for the following weeks.
Have some tough games coming up against West Perth at the Arena, a Home game hosting Souths and the following week taking on Claremont.

Very disappointing. Can't afford to let the game get away like third quarter.
Jones and Trop had big games. Pity they lacked more support.
CJ on world record pace with 53 disposals??

Showed a bit of character in the second & and then last quarter to fight it out to the end , remember there's a fair segment of inexperience among the team
Those blokes will gain heaps from yesterday ;)

Really poor performance yesterday. Kicking lacked penetration and composure and the entry into the forward line was just diabolical. Had more of the ball and plenty of opportunities particularly in the first 20 minutes when the ball was almost entirely in our forward half. Got smashed in the air as well. McInnes only ever seems to fire when he's playing against us. Jones, Tropiano, Sinclair outstanding and Corey Byrne battled his guts out. What is it with third quarters with this team? Went completely missing again!!
