If you are still a supporter of the club "get with the programme", get behind the team. Nothing will be changed by total negativity. If you don't like it go and find another club that will satisfy your needs.

You're so full of shit because I'm not a glass half full kind of guy I don't support the club lol I'm a realist , you need to get out of fantasy land the club may not even be there next year, you really think this club has time on its hands for another rebuild.

Well if you are right PN you just wont have to worry any more will you?
What you going to bitch about then ???
30+, that may be a bit of a worry for you too but I know that PFC means so much more to you.

If anyone hasn't I suggest having a look for the video of Geno Auriemma, Head Women's Basketball Coach at UConn. It's been doing the rounds on Facebook lately. Goes for roughly 2 mins 38 seconds.

Was I going a bit blind or did the lighting at the WAFL Centre Of Football Excellence seem a tad dim tonight???
IMO certainly not a satisfactory standard for WAFL footy.

The lighting is not the best down here Smokey.

On another note both Nelson Ansey and Julian Jacobs have been listed to play reserves the past two weeks. Both haven't played. Does anyone know why this is?

Looking back at last nights game I think there were definitely signs of further improvement from the week before when we played Swans.

While I don't accept the loss I think some things need to be taken into consideration. Combined Roe, Byrne, Ninyette, Scotney, Narrier, Morisey, Giblett, Johnson, Marlin and Gooch have played a combined 47 games. That's 10 players who on average have only played 4.7 games each. That's pretty much half the team.

The only players that have played overt 50 games are Troppo (82 games, 33 of which was at the Sharks), CJ (106 games, 84 at the Dogs), Latchy (58 games, 22 at Swans), McFarlane (56 games, 54 at Peel) and Eyresy (52 games).

Only one player can actually be classified as home grown. This has been one of the biggest downfalls at the club for decades. Not giving opportunities or a reasonable run in the league team to our younger players. We are finally starting to do this and while it is frustrating that we weren't in the position to do this two years ago in Earl's first season in charge but I am pleased that we are doing this now.

I saw a lot of improvement yesterday from the first game against Swans and like young players do, they will make mistakes at times but they must learn from them. I saw evidence of that yesterday in Zareth Roe's game. Last week he was guilty of leaping into a lot of contests playing as a defender. As a defender your first role should be to kill the contest. Last week against Swans his opponent stayed down while he went up and as a result Swans had a couple of easy forays into attack. Last night against Subiaco although playing forward and pinch hitting in the ruck he did not do this as much. He showed evidence of learning and growing between games.

From the opening two games I have seen I feel more comfortable that we will be able to be competitive in majority of games this season. I feel excited going to the footy and wandering if Roe or Ninja will take mark of the year, how many dashing runs will Narrier go on, watching the second and third and never say die efforts of Scotney and Morisey down back and wondering if today will be the day that Johnson bags three or four. For the first time in a long time I feel like this team has a pulse, something to look forward to and as each game passes seeing the continued development of 'OUR' kids.

Great post Mr AFL. I wasn't able to make it to last night's game but followed it on the WAFL app. I think after we kicked 3 straight to go one goal up we then kicked 4 behinds. Probably should have been a few goals up at qtr time. Looked like Subi dominated possession early before our boys worked back into it.

Obviously Sinclair didn't play which hurt us with his experience and hardness down back. Might have been a different result had he played. We need a win on the board though, we don't want to be satisfied with just being competitive and losing track of the top 5.

I think two of those four behinds were rushed DD. But yes we probably should have had two more goals in that period with Tropiano kicking into the man on the mark and I think Roe hitting the post from only 30 metres out.

Sinclair was missed but geez the effort by his replacement Kristian Morisey was excellent. He chased down I think Horsley for what would have been a certain goal and forced him through for a behind. In the process collided with the goal post at full tilt and didn't really play much after that. Colledge also had ice on his hamstring at three quarter time and did not play the last so once again we were down to two on the bench for most of the last qrt.

A loss is always hard to take. No one is more aware of this than a Perth Demon's supporter.
The last two weeks we could analyse the shit out of why..... missed goals, lack of experience, umpires, team selection etc etc. I think this team needs one thing - Luck. Just a little luck to get the best 22 out on the track at the same time and we would have won both games.

We will beat the Tigers next week back at home.

hang in there Dees, any team that underestimates Perth will get a shock like Swans did in round 1.
Perth are the quickest team in the comp and will worry all teams if they get a dry track.

So frustrating - with Tendai we would have been 2-0.
