30plus I can't remember an off season being so quiet on the Perth thread. The silence is deafening as the old saying goes. Not enough effort in that regard from the club IMO to satisfy us supporters.

Perhaps the fact the boys can't train at home has something to do with lack of the usual information from supporters who usually frequent Lathlain to take a look and get the latest goss.

We've lost Dene White and Wolfy due to retirement/work commitments and gained Clem Smith and Brandt College. Both are young delistings who failed to prove themselves at AFL level but maybe that's a motivation for both of them to get on their bike and bust their ass off to get another shot at the big time and probably take a leaf out of Menagola's book.

Tendai would have been fantastic but wrapped that Tropiano stayed. Apart from that the club has stocked up with a few unproven "B" graders from other clubs and failed to recruit anyone else of note so I guess we look for where the improvement is going to come from.

The only thing we have in common with Subi is we will be waiting 49 years between flags.

Julian Jacobs will be playing for the Demons this season.

Anyone heard anything about Neilson Ansey. Was rumoured that he was looking at switching clubs and the Demons were spoken about as a possible destination.

Cody Leggett has had an impressive preseason and Christian Eyres is the fittest he has been for a couple of seasons.

Clem Smith looks unlikely to play.

Club focussing on giving opportunities to the up and coming younger players.

Surely Clem hasn't pulled the pin already.....must be an injury of some sort...surely?

Calf injury??

I have also heard before Christmas that Clem will struggle to play this season. Nothing to do with calf injury.

Sounds like another "rebuilding year".
