That is good news Lucifer Paul Bevan will do a good job.

I heard yesterday from the top that Chance didn't want it.

Daniel O'Sullivan will do a good job as well.

He looks like he is going to have a good season.

Yes, good appointments IMO. I heard that Chance may have been offered the captaincy but declined. From what I have seen so far at training and scratchies Chance is making a huge contribution on and off the field. So have Bevo and Sully.

I heard yesterday that there are 2 leadership groups if you like.

The senior players like:
Bevan, O'Sullivan, Bateman, Kane etc

And a group of younger players who are seen as future leaders Hodge & others.

I agree with Lucifer the Club is benefiting hugely from having Chance around the place.

And the place does have a very good positive feel.

I look forward to seeing the new "team" oriented attitudes take hold and hopefully contribute towards turning the place around.

We will have a good season.

From the photo on The West's website it looks as though the football dept. has decided on Bevan as captain. This is a good choice, since I've heard good things about Bevan. It's also good since it demonstrates Bevan's commitment to the club and the current direction that the club is taking. I know Bevan had some trouble with other aspects of staying in Perth, so hopefully that's been sorted out as well.
