Hopefully Tropiano stays at the PFC. He has seen that the club has made a serious effort on terms of recruiting this year to try and push the team up the ladder. He should stay and see out 2016 and see what happens.

perhaps look in ur own backyard 1st??? Tell me of ur recurits thus far Mr AFL, who are from 'your own backyard"...

Totally agree Mr AFL...and I think most fair minded Subi supporters would also support promoting some of our own kids rather than poaching from other clubs. that's not to say there's no place for recruiting from other clubs under certain circumstances but to try and pinch the sandover medallist from a club that has struggled for years is unconscionable in my mind.

unconscionable? fair shake of the sauce bottle... Perths issues over the years are hardly Subi's or any other clubs issue...

Troppo has had a lot going on his football life recently and to go from struggling to get a league game to voted best in the comp the next year brings a lot of pressure and fanfare.

How he deals with all this over the following 12 months will be his true character test. Perth have just signed a senior midfielder to the club from all reports on reasonable $. Hopefully this dosn't sway him into thinking hes not still a key part of this team, because he is!!

Its not easy for WAFL players to resist the incentives of other clubs like Subi because they have to make to make a living and they are only doing what they think is best for their careers and their sky rockets. Twomey and Robinson as mentioned here being perfect recent examples.'

Regardless contracted players should be subject to a higher transfer fee / penalty if they do make the decision to leave mid contract.

I'm with you 4eva, you call that struggling, try 49 years, one good year then another 13. No one gave a shit & poached our best, not that we had that many. At least the D's have a bit of coin.

My point is that Subiaco are the reigning premiers pf the last two seasons and even with their losses are probably a very good chance of another three peat.

Perth have struggled for years and decided to give Aidan Tropiano a go because he couldn't get a regular league game at EF. Turned out to be one of the better moves the club has made in recent times and Tropiano won the Sandover.

Not just the Subiaco supporters on here but more so the club themselves have said in the media about how good their depth is. Why not try and give these kids a go. I reckon even with Subiaco's losses they will probably still make top three.

And South, Perth didn't do any high profile recruiting last year. The made an effort to play the kids and at the end of the 2015 season see which positions needed filling that could not be done so from within the club.
