Looking at the mess of Swans and East Perth finances it must be said well done to our administrators.

God if what happened at Swans and East Perth happened at Perth our detractors would have a field day.

Well done to the PFC in keeping us out of this sort of mess. Keep up the Great Work.

Seriously, this would have to be the most mental post I’ve seen on OzFooty since its inception.

Because other clubs have fked up, we’re going great guns????? What kind of insane logic is that. The baseline is…shit admin at other clubs = we should be grateful our club isn’t so financially inept.

Dazzler you stole my thunder, i started reading the opening post a second time thinking i had misread it. Pretty much suums up the mentality around the place. Good to see our culture is changing and we are aiming high.

Spot on Dazzler what the OP fails to admit is that Swans won a Flag 3 years ago, i would gladly take Swans situation now for that elusive flag.

And thank god for the late great Brian Lawrence who taught us to live within our means.

Some people obviously don't realise how close we came in 1999.

2 losses financially since (one very minor plus last year's) then and we have gone from strength to strength since then. Not too many clubs can boast that.

I would rather have a Club than have a dead one.

Thank god some people at the Club are still striving to turn things around on the field.

It's a pity they don't get any credit or any help from the detractors.

Negativity is not welcome at Lathlain.

DF every club in the league is a bee's dick away from insolvency. We have the added burden of 30+ yrs of failure. In the New World Order about to descend from 2014 we are right in the frame - as was said at the AGM. Comparing Perth to SD and EP's predicaments and making it a positive....can't see it and won't save us from being under the pump from the WAFC post-2013

A couple of more seasons like the last one and this club will be dead, like i said give me Swans situation every day of the week they may be in a bit of financial strife but they are still playing finals regularly.
