Dean Cox may have been spoken to but there is no way he will become our coach,he is going to sign a deal with the WCE as an assistant.
Dont you use the wafl as a pathway to the AFL?
He can bypass the hard yards in the wafl by going straight to an AFL assistants position!!

Lynch i would take a sa player but not as a head coach, yeah maybe as an assistant coach to someone with experience.

Shane Woewoedin named as an ideal candidate in today's West and Adam Pickering was an applicant but pulled out. Just stay where you are Pickers, I'm sure Bronte looks after you. I know some will turn their nose up at Woewoedin but I think we have to be realistic. He ticks all the boxes as a player at the highest level, won a Brownlow and has previous wafl experience as a coach and got EF into the four on one occasion.

He was a dedicated footballer with a very high level of fitness and got the best out of himself. The debate will be interesting. The reality is he might be the best applicant.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Pickering, oh no thanks.
We'll take Dawson though if he wants to coach a real club again.

The AFL Coaches Association should get some kudos if they get Woewodin over the line.

More than a few handy players waiting to see who ends up coaching and there's some recruits in the wings similarly waiting on the outcome.

Money won't be an issue. Appoint him, give him 3 years and the license to call the shots without Football Directors breathing down his neck and then turn your attention to the next thing that needs fixing out there - the board.

Right with you SD. IMHO things may turn out a lot better than some are predicting. I hope so.

Ahh yes the Steven Bradbury of football.......how he won the brownlow that year has still got me buggered!

Agree DD hes been in the system for 10 years now so should be a leading contender!

Be interested to hear from a couple EF boys on what they thought of him though?
