Might be back early Smokey. Also Gregor Taylor from Scarborough in the PFL. Big tall lad with a lot of potential I am told. I think Satan posted a couple of weeks ago he’s 6ft 8”. Think that’s 203cm as well.

Watch for Zac Hill to appear on another clubs list soon. Who needs a key backman? Hang on we do, well we’ve recruited a pretty good one and salary cap pressures probably means we have to make room. Mind you he didn’t take up any salary cap last year. Still, disappointed to lose him.

So it sounds like we have close to the full picture now of recruits. For the “5 signed and 1 still possible” i take that to be the following with state league experience or higher
Charlie Constable - signed and listed
Blake Schlensog- signed and listed
Aaron Clarke - signed and listed
Jed Kemp - signed and listed
Joshua Edward’s - signed (not yet listed)
Sam Simpson - linked to PFC but not signed or listed

The others who are signed and on the list are

Ryan Newick (Subi colts/PFL)

The other one i mentioned a few weeks back is Joey Chaplin - ruck/fwd/onballer from TSL. Nothing official on him signing yet but my stalking points to him coming over in the new year.

Daz, Brodie McLaughlin was the player who was described as the one “every club in Australia is chasing”. He topped the VFL goal kicking and was Charlie Constable’s teammate in the Suns.

He could well be but not the one talked about. It was Sam Simpson.

There was a lot of talk during the AFL trade period of Oscar Hine-Baston. Both Michael Ablett and Mike Sheahan spoke highly of him. I note he played one league game last year and was in the State 18s. Appears to be a defender. Watched him take down Harley Reid in the WA v Vic Country though Reid was awarded a high tackle free. Seemed to get a lot of ball. Is he a prospect for us?

Yeah, have heard that but this statement was made by a club official about Sam Simpson.

Ah i see. Let’s hope he sees past the $$ of the VFL, SANFL and Subiaco
