Not surprising to me. Not certain he would welcome the Germo programme with enthusiasm or vice versa.
What it means is we will need to recruit a competent ruckman who has that enthusiasm. It will be a difficult task but hopefully we are already onto it.

Don't think RL and Grump would be overly surprised about AJ pulling the pin at Perth.

23 yr old 183cm forward.
Has been playing in the Country.
Played 14 league games for EF.
Stats don't look much

Recruiting tends to ramp up after the draft, but I am getting a bit concerned. SF, SD, C, S have all announced good signings. Nothing yet from WP, but they need to keep last year's list together rather than add a great deal. It seems strange that P and EP, who badly need quality recruits, haven't been active so far. Hopefully there is some master plan behind the scenes. Crowden and Waterman would do nicely. Maybe Naish, but he may just be Ainsworth mark II. 

I believe German starts 4/11 so maybe some news after that.
