My guess is that in the next few weeks we might start to hear a few things but don't expect any earth shattering happenings.

I know we're all sick of 3 year plans/5 year plans, but no matter what changes we make, we are looking at that sort of time frame to build a decent list. A lot of our better players only have a couple years left, if that. Obviously there are pretty much no decent players from last year's colts. Depending on what happens in the draft, maybe guys like MacDonald, Philip, Livingstone and Zolnier-Owens can become good players. So whatever we do with the President/board/coaching panel, building a decent list from the low base we are at is going to take time.

What fkn business has a runner got getting involved in a melee? Agree Daz, what a joke. Appeal it. The Claremont runner should be suspended for interfering with an opposition player. 

Agree DD the runner should not have been anywhere near the melee, Perth should protest the decision and get a please explain regarding the runners interference in the melee.

You are quite right Ted.
But I don't think we have the Football Department with the know how to develop talent. 
Not sure they can identify it.

It’s not clear to me that a change of coach will help. So need to back Moss in if he’s up for the challenge.  He may need more support?  I doubt whether EP would be after him?

The list is dire. Recent recruits have not worked, both highly rated and cast offs from other clubs - Ainsworth, Smith, Chapman Jones, Quill, Hug, Peletier, Bird, Ajang, Martin, More, Mayne. 

We are left with maybe 10 players who you might build a team around, along with some younger blokes. But truly when was the last time we were excited by a debutant? Once we used to get players from over East. Not saying that’s the answer but we’ve even dropped off in that regard. Pang, Bossong, etc etc. 

We can’t simply recruit 15 players. This is not 1986. 

We need renewed leadership at Board level and laser like focus on improving across the club.

We’ve missed a trick on ES recruiting. SD have turned it into an art form under the astute leadership of Phil Smart, a bloke we rejected when he came knocking after leaving Freo.
