Another great article? Curious when the first one was, let alone any others after that. Or whenever he produced a half decent one let alone a great one.

I've been told some of his work in the Western Suburbs Chronicle was good back in the day.

I'm not sure what you guys want...at least he promotes the WAFL and regularly writes about it. I actually find his standard of journalism to be very good. He was at the Subi v SF game last Saturday...I wonder how many other scribes attended WAFL matches that weekend?

Surely I can question his credibility when he states in a tabloid that one WAFL club is the most likely to fold and then ten minutes later another club goes into voluntary administration. He had his story all along - but he was lazy and didn't do his research. In the end he is just smart but without being clever at all.

I think the yob who lives in the place has been sactioned by the strata company for breaching their code of conduct and ordered to apologise to his neighbours. Not sure if hes a tenant but if he is they could evict him.

There is no doubt about it, some people give it some mouth at the football so it is sometimes wise to avoid attending.
I remember missing out on Jason Heatley kicking 12 straight goals against EP for that very reason.

I must own up that I did a similar thing on Saturday, just by "thanking" Stryk for his efforts for the state last week.
A bit like Higgins, he must have made a rapid recovery.

FYI, Strijky has calf issues and he missed the last 3 qtrs of the EF game prior to the State game.

Agreed, all about what suits him and the agenda he is pushing on behalf of others.

Coming in a bit late on this thread as been away, but what an absolute beat-up by some of you on here about JT.
I don't always agree with everything he writes or says, but as stated by BC and Tiger of Old, he is a GREAT supporter of the WAFL in general and not just Claremont as some would suggest.
Yes, he does attend the games and apart from his reports in the West, he also is heard quite regularly on 91.3 Sport FM in their WAFL segments as well.I notice BH disappeared from this thread as soon as BC showed him the terrific article he put in the WEST about the Ugle incident.
Keep up the great work JT...............you can never keep everyone happy!!

Yes Ocker he did eventually do a piece 3 or 4 days after the event and 2 days after his employer Seven West Media had originally presented the issue on the news and 2 days after I asked the question where he was as he was very vocal on a similar subject last season but that did not involve his clubs supporters!
Better late than never I guess!
