Agreed Too - you can continue to beat us in the qualifying rounds and we will continue to beat you in the GFs.

Had a beer with a Swan supporter and he had great pleasure in reminding me of 82,83,90 and 10 at the final siren. Asked him where his Rolf Harris T-shirt was, apparently burnt it during a chemical accident, crystal something he said?
Great game. Blackwell's form has been outstanding 38 touches I think, we missed him against FART last game.
All 3 sides had a win. Holt Yu & Starcevich were best for the Magoos, good to see.
The Swan supporter, get this, has been collecting football budgets since 1963! He had the 65 & 68 budgets with him, like small novels,30 cents back then. The 68 budget had the WAFL GF played at night at the showgrounds, was that right?
We've got 5 games and a bye, 3 games at home and 2 games at Leederville, 3 wins are very possible, 5 not out of the question.

one thing Claremont have is a massive home ground advantage on the bog heap as the ground is pretty short..Seaby to Blackwell/Murphy and then in the goal square virtually..
Seaby/Blackell combo was impossible for Swans to stop

Hi Jiimmy.

The budgets that bloke had would have been for the night series 'pre-season' competition held at the Showgrounds in March 1968 won by East Fremantle against West Perth. In 1967 there was a similar series played by the bottom 4 sides which was run in conjunction with the final series. That series was won by Swans.

MO ground is the same size/shape as the MCG.
Thanks waflfootyfacts.
Tiger of Old, think Broadbridge was given a 2 year contract, would be extending that ASAP, can't believe Perth FC let him slip through their hands....then again.

it would be shorter than other wafl grounds and suited to a team like Claremont that has a good ruck and stoppage players.
wouldnt be getting excited about Broadbridge just yet, percentage of 77 and 6 and 9 wouldnt indicate they are flying..

MCG bulldust!
It's the shape of a circle designed for speedway.
Come this Sat with all this rain it will be a bog patch good for farmers.

Agree with the Tigers boys, very similar to MCG except for the smell of horse shit on the outer side
