Interesting comment STT given Harris returned Claremont to finals improving each year playing in 3 finals series and a narrow GF loss in his 4 seasons.

In 6 years, Earl got Perth to play 1 final and the other 5 years which included 2 spoons, Perth’s performance was no better than the previous 16 years under McMahon, Jarman, Eastaugh, Magro or Armstrong.

That is a brutal decision given that he came within a whisker of being the premiership coach. Claremont have never been far off the pace while he has been in charge so unless it was a mutual decision for him to move on, I think he has been hard done by.
