your blokes were very good tonight. the intensity around the stoppages and pressure on the ball carrier was first class. I thought you were far more aggressive than last year and outmuscled Subi. young Solomon is a find and according to the Budget is only 21 so will improve big time as he gets older. I know its only one game in to the season but today's showing confirms to me you guys are the flag favorites.

The thing I really noticed was their numbers at every contest, very fast hard running team with some good targets up forward. Souths will take some stopping this year, good luck to them.

Should also give a cheers to the Souths supporters, always a good atmosphere in the members bar area with no agro and a good laugh. Only negative was the $9.45 burgers.

Easily flag faves in my book....need good targets to win a flag and SF have a mixture of quality tall, mid and small options....Subi historically have a mean leak tight defence....19 goals speaks volumes, hate to see what SF do against teams with leaky defences......

Solomon rucked against Guinness?...wasn't Guinness on debut from the country?....be interesting to see how Solomon goes against experienced types in Keunen, Andrews etc....though with big Brock in the shadows, reckon SF have that option covered, if Solomon struggles.

Really impressed with the intesity , seem to catch Subi out, they looked a bit shell shocked.
