Bad luck Southerner, Good fightback but they can't give a team like Subi a start like they did
Important for your boys to bounce back against Claremont next week at the cow paddock. I still think SF are the main challengers to Subiaco

Jaxon Crabb said on radio "the only chance $ubi will lose is to a fully AFL ladened East Perth and Peel, and that they continually lure the comps best players and that is why they will continue to create a lopsided comp" Interest in this comp is heading down the gurgler because of this. I would normally have gone along to a game today as a neutral but because of the way it is going decided to watch the local Derby Gosnells v Thornlie instead

Pffft crabb the clown. Says he with the golden zone. Radio should've asked him if his mob would be happy to swap zones with us. Well you missed a good standard game mate

Ha the old 'zone' chestnut, even though Subi boast the biggest junior club in the metro area in their zone, BH will remember the name of the club. Commentators and scribes in the WAFL are finally waking up to the facts it seems

Yes Kingsway is a large club, but as has been quoted before we are about 900 players short in our junior zone of privileged clubs like Swans and Claremont. It's still no excuse though.

Anyway before Swandog derails another thread I'll get back to the footy. Beautiful day sitting out in the sun with a larger than expected crowd considering we were up against the Dockers. Great fight back by Souths in the third with Hockey absolutely killing us in the middle with clearances. Souths would have had us if they'd taken their chances infront of goal.

Hey outer, was that you giving the umpires some advice at 3 qtr time, or at least pointing out the incredible 21:6 free kick count at the time?

Yes me and a few others felt compelled to inform them of a massive imbalance in the free kick stats. None of us were abusive towards the umpires, just told them that the count had better be evened up.

Yeah, I just felt if we got our noses infront it would of been enough to go on with it, but those critical misses put paid to that and in the last we barley fired a shot which was a pity, well for us anyway.

Interesting to see Saunders not fire a single shot, Aaron Heal did a superb job on him as did Declan Jackson on Shaw.

OH where's GRASSY ARSE.

I 100% begrudge $ubi Screemer for the simple fact that Subiaco Oval belongs to the tax payers, the same tax payers that support all clubs, absolute numpty of a call for this to have been passed. Funnily enough reading the 1981 Football Register, the Subi president during the "Save the Lions" campaign was scathing toward the current members at the time for ignoring the clubs pleas for financial support, it was left to people like my old man who handed over $100 in 82

There's a lot of truth in there Leeds mate
