Not as big as the Bassendean game this one. But still is an important match for both clubs. Souths won the first encounter, with West Perth narrowly winning the second match between these two clubs. If I was to have a bet, it'd be West Perth to win by about 4 goals? Souths will be going all out to win this last Home game because their last match is Away. But given the weather conditions looking a bit iffy on Saturday, Souths could sneak a win here?

Souths have nothing to play for, so West Perth will win by 4 or 5 goals I think

Should be a good contest regardless - we have a healthy rivalry with the Cardinals and a long history stretching back to the 1950's Grand Finals

Results between the two sides don't always go according to plan or logic & thus , the overall historic win/loss records are pretty much 50/50

This match will see a few veteran Bulldogs playing their last home games if they are selected in the league side (although they will feature in the ressies finals tilt)

South Freo to upset the Cardies at home for me

Last home game for us, in what has been a dissapointing season, apart from the derby wins and fact that ef are more rooted than us.

mike I think we still have an outside chance of a 5th spot, no a bit to play for, in saying that a win over wp would be very unlikely.

I think a South Fremantle win and if Claremont were to lose this weekend, would be a most interesting round 23. Only thing against Souths currently, is their lower percentage. Souths have kicked 103 goals (at Home) whereas West Perth have kicked 95 goals (in Away games).

It will be interesting to see how the remaining two games are approached by the Coach and Club.

We have a few old timers ie Mugambwa, White , K Hams who might be playing their last home games? Do you play sentiment?
Will Ah Chee be sent back to play colts leading into the finals. It looks like our colts team is in a bun fight with WP for a spot in the finals?
Will Sellars play again this year? Already has said he will be heading home after the season? Play a youngster and give them the appetite for league footy in 2016?
Rain forcast on the weekend could be a blessing for us? we played our best footy in the wet V Peel two weeks ago. Then got blown away in the dry...
Kicking a winning score and winning enough football midfield will be the key

Mate mathematically the only way we can get in is if Swans & Claremont draw & then Claremont lose in the final round BUT we also have to win our remaining 2 games

If south win their last 2 games we end up on 40

If Claremont get beaten by SD They stay on 36 and SD go to 40 and jump in the 5.

SD then have no further games

Claremont lose their last game and remain on 36.

SD remain on 40 with a percentage about 20% higher than ours.

Yep the % is the killer.
