Thats the double chance gone, EF put paid to that with the win over C, we will have to do it the hard way, and not many have doen it from bottom of 5.

Looking at the game Sunday , form is very average, EP were a real chance to roll us at times, the alarm was sounded and we salvaged a win.

Perth last up, saving a disaster we finish 4th, and will have Peel or SD up first, don't envy taking Peel on, and after the Dockers get rolled in week two of the finals, load the team up and probably go all the way.

it panned out the way I thought it might and East Perth made us work for the win in a pretty close affair between the clubs once more - they were playing for a sacked coach which was going to happen and deserve a bit of respect for that
thankfully we held them at arm's length and got a good workout for the finals which is valuable stuff at this time of year and hopefully Noah Strom is ok to go next weekend for another important game in a tight race up top
might have been towards 3000 at the game but I'm a terrible estimate of crowds
crowd was 2100, live broadcast, effectively a dead rubber game, but oddly enough one of the biggest of the year....

Average is well below 2k this year for most games.

it was a lot better crowd then most saturday games i've attended.i think maybe the fact that we had no afl footy and  nice weather  and a sunday game might have helped.I got to freo early and was dissapointed how dead the town was.Thank goodness for the markets where i got something to eat.The only thing better was if the royals could have won.

Chaddy, there have been a few comments of late that the Cappacino strip is emptied out of operators recently, HJ,s Dome and a few others have closed, but if you wander down to the former Myers buidling there is a heap of stuff there, you should passed them walking down William Street, thre is also a Varsity Bar there, not sure what time you got there but they have plenty of food options.

A lot of the restaurants, bars etc have moved from Freo down South Terrace towards South Beach. I live only minutes from that part of town and on weekends it's jumping. I had lunch with my kids at Running with Thieves yesterday and it was really pleasant with free parking right outside and none of the hassle of being in Freo central.

That was exactly the conversation BC, a lot on entertainment options has moved down to South Fremantle, some good eateries and bakereries, and stalwarts like Roccos still going albeit with new owners, the two pubc have be refurbished Seaview and Davilak , although the new name of the Seaview, The Local is a bit cheesy.

The cappacino strip was plagued with problems, aggro and drunks from the night clubs late at night and bums asking for money during the day.

When I lived in Price Street 20 odd years ago you could see the area was on its way to being a good strip although, was still a work in progress at the stage. havent tried running with thieves yet, actually parking can be an issue around there on busy days, It was handy living there, jump on the bike and head down to south beach for a dip after work.

There were quite a few parking spots in the carpark on Marine Terrace so it wasn't an issue. Yes Madelena's Seafood restaurant, Copper Chimney, Ruocco's as you say, South Beach Hotel, Saroor Indian, La Cabana Mexican and the old brothel at 205 South Terrace. It's got everything!!! . You can get a fight, feed and fu*k all within 100 meters. :-)

"Fremantle Fitness Center" as Ada Rose was originally called.

The Marine Terrace and South Beach Carpark get a lot fuller during summer weekends with people at the beach, they end up using the old south beach footy oval as a carpark in summer.
