These type of workers could not do the job at 70.Easy for fat shiny arsed pollies to say let them work until they are 70.

a/man we aren't usually on the same side but on this one we are. Perhaps Bazza should join those Liberals and work as a brickies' labourer for a month and to place Gavin Taylor who is due the same amount of contempt can join Bazza as well.

Selective reading once again, as I said those with ailments, don't keep working in those jobs much past their 50s, certainly not into 60s, brickies , labourers etc with stuffed backs all go on the DSP..anyway what about super?? that's another thing you have ignored ,remember Labors plan?? ever seen CBUS Construction industry Super, it has some of the best returns around, most CFMEU members in that industry are earning huge money , very few if any are still swinging axes or digging at 60 little own 65 , most have already moved to retirement, go to any construction site , there is virtually no one there over 60 doing heavy work.

What sort of despicable human beings are the Liberals to propose that tradies should have to work to 70 before they can get the pension? Those same Liberal politicians should be forced to work as a brickies' labourer for a month.

Very few people are going to fall for Morrison's back flips especially as Desperate Dutton gets more and more ensnared in the au pair scandal.

Hey Swan where was all the fake out rage when Gillard and Labor raised the Age to 67? all those poor old ditch diggers being forced to work another 2 years???

Maybe one of them will come up with a well timed and now worn out quip that West Perth should get 96% of the blame and only 4% to everyone else.

4 cents in the dollar will be used to mock WP for years to come, get used to it.

seeing's WPFC only pay 4% of their ATO Tax,,,is it right their supporters are only getting 4% of the old age pension?

Disgraceful the ATO only gets 4%, thought they were first in line? can garnish? do as they please in administration?
Oh well, here is how it looks like an administration works in a practical sense.
Have to say for the CEO and obviously some board members to trade as they did, then enter voluntary administration and let the administrators to come in and do what is actually their job is one thing. Its entirely another morally, ethically and hopefully legally to be able to be able to do it and get away with it.

As for tradies , they are making more money than anyone now got heaps of super and if a crook back happens they all just go on the DSP at 55.

Baz the housing industry is ABN.Most workers don't get paid super all the work is subcontract
But do get good tax concessions with tools of trade and motor vehicles and there own super donations. And as you say most are born after 1st of July 1965 the pension cut off. They will only be entitled to a Health care card no pension.

Correct and so is large parts of the broader construction industry, but then again as the expert said earlier why don't you just go see for yourself ant any construction site. He obviously does that, that's why he is so up to speed with all the relevant facts as he sees them.
