LS last time Iooked you weren't on the High Court of Australia. Secondly, I don't believe that it was the ALP that refused to support the latest referrals to the high court. Thirdly, notwithstanding the MHR for Batman, which side of politics have given scant details? One can only imagine that the lack of detail is to hide something that would cause a referral to the high court to determine whether they are dual citizens or not.

Turnbull on this like everything else has completely prostituted his principles in a last gasp attempt to stay in power. The latest was his refusal to call a royal commission into the backs, saying it would serve no purpose, would cost a fortune, etc. etc. And what does he do within 48 hours of his latest refusal to call one, he calls one. This from a government that has called royal commissions for pure base politics.

Remind me again about who said this in the Parliament nearly 4 months ago:

............saying Mr Joyce was "qualified to sit in the house and the High Court will so hold".

Hint - he is same height as Shorten, but can be differentiated on the basis that he is qualified lawyer wanker, who likes to be thought of as one of Australia's pre-eminent legal minds.

Bazza as I type the completely vacuous, spineless, gutless and unprincipled current Prime Minister has refused to suspend QT so that the SSM legislation can be housed in the House of Representatives. And why did he do it? So he can try to save the local ex-Member for Bennelong. He has mentioned Bennelong at least 10 times.

And Turnbull has REFUSED to refer members from his side ofpolitics to the High Court.

Finally perhaps Bazza you need to check Mark Dreyfus's background before you try your usual checks. When you do that, we anticipate a very humble and unreserved apology.
