Bastille Day celebrations were just disrupted at Nice, Southern France when a truck ploughed through innocent bystanders. Possibility over 40 dead.. Is Pauline Hansen right?

The religion of peace lol, no doubt the left will find some way to spin this terrorist attack by this homophobic so called religion.

Truly horrible event in Nice on Frances national holiday.
The police and security forces now have a new security threat to deal with.Not a bomb or a gun but a truck.Guns where found in the cabin.
Recent polling in France has showed the French want out of the European Union.If you can't secure your borders how can you stop these acts of terrorism.

As shocking as Nice and all the other atrocities committed in the name of religion continues to be, the great divide between Sunnis and Shi'ite will see 1000 Muslims die for every Westerner. Interesting expose on 4 Corners the other night where a Muslim journalist went under cover with a supposed terrorist cell in France. His overwhelming opinion was that these idiots are angry with the world in general and use religion as an excuse. I'm not sure what the answer is other than maybe cordon off the middle east and let no one in or out and let them kill each other and neutralise sleeper cells in the west as they pop up. One thing is for sure...it's only going to get worse before it gets better and that it will happen here big time before much longer.

Absolute gutless low life filth can carry out such an act of this kind. This is not the time for political leaders to roll out the usual diplomatic condemnation. It is time to come to grips with reality here. As a mate of mine puts it. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims. And Western societies must protect themselves from this religion that breeds hate and promotes themselves as being superior to anyone who doesn't share their warped ideology.

Grassy their is one way to fix China and put them in their place but Western civilizations like ours are too greedy to buy into it. STOP BUYING AND TRADING WITH CHINA and ban Chinese investors in Australian property and resources. Make them come to OUR NEGOTIATION TABLE!

Stop exporting our beautiful beef and milk and seafood and other fresh produce that the Chinese have developed an appreciation for.

Other Asian markets like South Korea and Japan will happily pick up the slack and I am prepared to pay more for my electrical goods.

so you'd put thousands of Aussie jobs and businesses to the sword just because you don't like China? China is our largest trading partner...in 2014 we traded well over $160 billion with China....Japan is at number 2 with less than half that amount. we export more than twice as much to China than we import from them...so what does that tell you? it tells me that if we put our relationship with China at risk, we'll be the losers and not China....source DFAT....FMD.

Apparently the truck, loaded with grenades drove through the barricades and then straight into the crowd at about 60 to 70 km/h. All this happens on Frances National Day to maximise the impact. The exact nature of the attack is unclear. The latest count is at least 80 people (including children) have been killed.
A senseless waste.

Narrow focus mate, short term pain for long term gain. We would see a return to real manufacturing in Australia and real jobs and pathways for mums and dads and their kids, the price of beef and fruit and vegetables would plummet more than making up for the extra we would have to shell out for electrical goods.

If we don't join the US and other allies and take a stand it won't be long before they take over the whole of South East Asia and are right on our doorstep. I've come to the conclusion DD that you live in a parallel universe to the rest of us...the $100 billion trade surplus we currently have with China would be replaced with what? Australia has a market of 25 million people and China has 1.3 billion...am I sensing that we would struggle to cover our losses if our trade with China went pear shaped? silly me...why am I trying to make valid points on basic economics 101 with someone who has no idea?
