Bit of a broad sweeping statement there BC, not sure about you but I attended CBC Freo and cannot speak more highly for the catholic education system, they have also been very instrumental in football development in this state. The likes of CBC, Trinity Aquinas, St Louis have produced many players, not to mention the Victorian Colleges.

Had three mates (one who you might know from work) that went to the turtle factory at Point Peron and were bashed by the nuns then off to CBC freo to get bashed by the brothers.
The students kept a tally on when they copped the strops, bats, canes, etc used by the various brothers. The winner was usually in the high 100’s for the year.
For two of them, their families started legal action then transferred them to Kwinana SHS.

Another mate who attended a CBC in Victoria goes to his school reunions every few years.
Though still in their young 60’s the #’s are less every time with the reason being:
Suicide.
The investigations and inquests brought the buggery to the fore but really didn’t do much for the individuals.

I listen to Andrew Bolt on a daily basis and must agree with is comments. Thank god we have 1 journalist who is will willing to come out against all these Media types who just want to destroy people before they are FOUND GUILTY,
They certainly got rid of a PM who was at least trying to to sort out our national debt and had saved us 80 billion up until he was stabbed in the back by the pretender who HAS DONE NOTHING since achieving his aim of becomming PM. A egotistical and narcissistic arsehole who is Not interested in our country but his own selfish aims.

A Bolt should never be quoted to support a position; his views should be used to clearly and positively support the opposing view.

By the way: the "they" were members of his own party. I am by no means an apologist for Turnbull. He completely prostituted his principles to become PM. His own views are in the main counter to his governments views on: climate change, the NBN, etc.
