Well how dumb are the supermarkets? They should have immediately put limits on items THEY KNOW people clear the shelves of. Hopefully limits apply from opening hours tomorrow so we can ALL get what we need.

Once again the WA AMA have been proven to be correct.

They warned Mc Clown the Hotel Security was not up to scratch and that our track and trace was poor.

Sounds like a repeat of the Victoria fark up, massive mistake in Quarantine Security, bloke sick for days not tested and was then also driving around as a Uber clown. FFS.

Testing Station stations are already going ape.

A fair bit of over kill exaggeritis going on as well, wearing masks while exercising is ridiculous.

I ducked into work yesterday about 2pm to grab some documents so I could work from home this week. The shops were insanely busy at Wembley Downs & Floreat so decided to do a shop at Cole’s in the CBD. Was a line of only 20 to get in compared to about 400 lined up at Floreat.

Coles had already placed limits of 2 on items, but understandably were understaffed for the rush and hadn’t put signs on shelves to tell shoppers that limits applied. This caused huge dramas at the checkouts especially the self-serve, with nearly every shopper having to have products taken off them and returned to the shelves.

...And another question I have been asking for a million years is why do people need to work 2 jobs. Apparently his other employment is a ride share driver for christ sake!
That question now needs to be bought to the surface?
I'm on the understanding the guy in question works 8+ hour shifts! Why is that not enough?

I think a lot of people who come to Australia to live and work are extremely money focussed and do have two or three jobs. Whereas, the average Aussie is happy with one if it fills their needs.
Not trying to be racist, it’s just a fact.

I see we are now locked out from the rest of Australia. This is good and should help us contain the problem.
Does this mean our GST and royalties are locked into WAAs well.

I went to Midland Gate yesterday afternoon oblivious to what had transpired until I drove out of the driveway and turned the radio on. Only went there to buy a Boost drink, as I came up the escalator there was a huge queue snaking it's way from Woolworths across the mall to the entrance to Big W. Not worried about dunny paper I always buy a pack when I'm down to about half a pack and I see it on special but i saw this guy in front of me struggling to hold onto 2 packs of 18 rolls, I felt like asking him mate do you really need 2 packs of 18? I didn't knowing the response I would probably get but had a chuckle to myself when he dropped one bag just after getting off the escalator (probably stumbled because he couldn't see his feet) and struggled to hold onto the other bag while he was scrambling to pick up the other one he dropped.

Dunny paper should be limited to ONE PACK and ffs packs don't need to be bigger than a dozen rolls surely?

Yep understand what your saying 58.

I don't want to open a can of wriggly worms here, that's not the intention.

The average wage here is between 75,000 to say 100,000 / year, so people tell me.
Some earn much, much and much more of millions/ year. Others earn hundreds of thousands.
Sadly there are still others that need to scrimp and scrape along earning under 40 thousand / year!
All of which seems a huge discrepancy! Does it not?
Why does that happen in our so called modern day and age?

We always have a pretty stocked up pantry, and we did weekly shop Saturday anyway, over the last few months I've slowly stocked up on the things that took a hit last time like rice and pasta and I always have a stocked beer fridge.

I worked through last lock down as per normal at work now.

Noticed face masks hit and miss on train yes, but most going for early morning walk to beach didnt bother which is what I'll be doing.
