I think the death stats are pretty irrelevant Ark, who wants to get this horrible disease that has the potential to kill you? It's now being reported a lot of younger people are getting it and most likely are the ones spreading it.

That is 530 (or thereabouts) cases thus far for the month of June over there!
And their growth factor has currently reached about 60. Where a reading of over 1 is bad! 265 of those cases has happened in the past 7 days.

The fact that many of these new cases in Vic are in younger people that indicates that the opening up of pubs and clubs plus the self possesed protest marchers could be a major factor with young people congregating in large numbers and no social spacing plus they are the "it will never happen to me" generation. It will be interesting to see what happens in WA with most restrictions gone from July 18th. Lets judge our form against others after a few weeks of virtually no restrictions. My guess is we'll do a lot better as we waited longer to open up and have zero community cases so on the surface it appears there's virtually nothing to spread as long as outsiders are kept out and the visiting AFL teams are strickly controlled and patrolled in lockdown, none of this out surfing or playing golf etc, they must stay within the confines of the Burswood hotels hub.

Heard yesterday that the quarantine in Nsw was done by the police+army.So they wised up after the mess they made early.In Vic people just left the quarantine and ignored the security guards,from Coles+Woolies.
