DD the island will be perfectly safe after the quarantine is finished and the whole joint will then be sanitized. Would expect at least a further 14 day close down of the island after they leave just to make sure. The virus doesn't live more than a couple of days in the best of circumstances.

Yep Port of Rego is Panama City, its a flag of convenience of course, but they cant be refused entry there, although the passengers may well be quarantined.

Genoa might be its Home Port but legally its bound to Panama.

Magnifica is due to sail across to Dubai. However if that port is closed, they won't be going there. Cannot imagine the vessel steaming to Genoa. Would currently be wise to keep far away from Italy. An option would be maybe head out to South Africa because Durban and Cape Town would be a good refueling stop.

You have to ask the question, when did these people start their cruise? The cruise ship stuck in Tokyo for weeks very early on, was a clear indication that cruise ships are the worst place to be with this virus, They are germ factories at the best of times, so i get a bit angry when these people start demanding they be rescued at the expense of their countries taxpayers when they should never have gotten on board in the first place.

All the Italian Ports are closed , and I think Africans ones are as well.
