Day 1 of the South Africa-India Test at Newlands in Cape Town would have to be one of the most remarkable in Test history, Southerner.
The 23 wickets lost in the day equals that of the Newlands Test between SA and Australia in November 2011 (the Test record is 27, in an 1888 Ashes Test at Lord's).
After dismissing SA for just 55 in the current Test, India were cruising at 4-153, only to lose their last 6 wickets without adding a single run in the space of 11 balls.
I saw Laurie Evans smash 85 runs from only 28 balls for the Scorchers at Perth Stadium a few hours ago.
Evans above! - as amazing as Laurie's feat was, nothing compares to the glorious uncertainty of Test cricket.

except this one ambushed all batsmen
not too many innings feature 6 ducks in top level cricket
