Agree, even though it was only a light kick, it was still a kick out of frustration and Nat needs to learn to deal with this to become the elite player that he could be. He could do a lot worse on his weekend off than to study how players like Ablett and Jobe Watson cope with close attention

I think you are being kind A/M, I would be using a stronger word than silly Looking at this in perspective and whatever you think of the MRP's view of the incident, Fremantle have put at risk and now lost the availability of their prime midfielder for a crucial home match against Collingwood, which is a 50/50 prospect at best, in order to try and make him available for a game against the Gold Coast who they would be overwhelming favourites to beat with or without Fyfe. It made no sense from a risk management viewpoint and whoever made the decision to refer the case needs to be held accountable for it

That rabble of a club have been making these sort of dumb decisions for the last 19 years since inception, so no great surprise to see this happen yet again!

I read an article about a month back that quoted their President or CEO saying that the whole Dockers club, not just the players but all staff had become more professional and accountable since Ross Lyon took over. The action taken on this particular issue doesn't back up that statement.Maybe they thought they had a better than even chance of getting it downgraded, but I didn't hear one TV or radio commentator say that Fyfe had been hard done by after the penalty was announced.

Mikeh and BH - surprise, surprise no-one in the media came forward to support Fyfe.

Interestingly on the Foxtel AFL360 programme last night it must have been shown conservatively 20 times. The MRP is a joke, the tribunal is a joke.

It is my understanding that Fyfe wanted to take the matter to the tribunal to defend his reputation.

Whilst I have no great empathy for the Dockers, given their part in the WAFL disgrace of host club alignment, until the likes of Lyon and others in senior management take on the AFL and the Victorian and WA media they will always be treated like second class citizens.

To demonstrate what I am saying there is some talk as Anzac Day is on Friday there hsould be a triple header including the Freo Len Hall game. The response from people like Whateley: they might be one game too many. His solution play the game at the MCG and in NZ. WHich one has he omitted?
