I thought that the Eagles got the shitty end of the stick umpire wise. What was good for the goose, wasn’t good for the gander. It appears that when you are tackled and swung around one or two times it’s play on ...... apparently. Also, in the first quarter when Kennedy kicked a goal, McGovern celebrated with him, but crossed his wrists. Wonder what that was about?
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

Bloody hell, you read some shit in the Melbourne rags - this from an analysis in the Age:

If Kennedy and Darling do deliver, the Eagles will still need more avenues to goal. Veteran half-forward Mark LeCras, in perhaps his last game, can be that man.

From today's game, goal kickers were:

Kennedy 4, Cripps 3, Darling 3, LeCras 3, Venables, Redden, Ryan, Hutchings, Rioli.

Yes, that is 9 individuals. FMD!

Not sure about that Sharkie, I remember one around the Melbourne half of the centre square, an Eagles player (think it was Crips) changed direction with ball in hand, then tackled and brought to ground. Holding the ball for mine but umpire balled it up. That one was in the first qtr when Melbourne were still in the game.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Can't see WCE losing TBH....far more options up front....plus Ryan and Rioli will love the chance of playing on the big stage.....Barrass and McGovern up back......only place I can see Collingwood having a hint of a chance is through Grundy in the ruck, Treloar, Pendles and Sidebottom through the middle.....Hope it will be a good contest....would be great to see JK kick a a bag and exorcise those Hawthorn GF demons from a few years ago.....great to see a few EF boys playing as well

Wonder who plays on De Goey? He gives the Eagles a bit of difficulty match up wise. Brad Shepherd was an ideal match up. Too strong for Cole, too nimble for Duggan. Wouldn't want Hurn concentrating on him. Schofield perhaps gets the big job.
Fantastic to see Liam Ryan playing on the biggest stage after all us wafl followers being absolutely stunned that he didn't get drafted after his sensational 2016

This has really thrown the cat among the pigeons. Eagles v Wobblers. The Mexicans over east and here will just have to follow them. Of course, I’m sure the dockers supporters will be behind the Eagles. :blink: :silly:

Wide wide open now that Richmond are out of it now for mine.

I give the Eagles every chance here, sounds like a very cold wet day at the G GF day though .. would favour Collingwood.

Either way , the worst thing this week is the bloody media, I have banned channel eagle for a week at least in my house.
