There are 4 players that remain at Cronulla and they will get the full whack, SOO captain Paul Galen is looking at 2 years.

I reckon Essendon players have waivered any discounts by their court actions, would be funny though if Cronulla players receive discounts and Essendon players cop the full 2 year bans because of idiots like Paul Little launching legal action.

Please if you are ignorant of the facts just keep out of forums and making yourself look foolish.

The Essendon players have not have not taken any legal action at all. It is the club and Hird. If you actually followed the case you will know that the initial hearing in July was to whether J. Middleton was going to make the players party to the case.

Not trying to promote another forum but maybe you should stick with the other foamers on the HTB on bigfooty. You can all like each others comments on there.

Good one Einstein the club are the player's, why do you think Essendon took Asada to court I will help you out so that they can get off on a technicality so the players don't have to answer the Show Cause Notices.

Oh by the way there are only one group of supporters that use the term Foamers and they would be the brain washed Essendon supporters, Hirdites call them what you will.

Can someone explain something to me? If the peppy boys do get pinged, there's talk that they can serve their bans over the next 6 months and be available for the start of next season. Pray tell, where the bloody hell is the penalty???

A rare moment here. I agree with 58shark. They are saying ASADA have effectively offered the players a plea bargain. 6 months provided they admit taking a banned substance. If they are allowed to serve it in the off season then where is the penalty? Piss weak. And when is ASADA going to make the mastermind behind it accountable? I am all for going light on the players because they acted in good faith to the people they are employed by who pay their salaries but surely those who pushed this program must have the book thrown at them?

If ASADA don't get fair dinkum with this they are setting a dangerous precedent.

Dank might have been the one with the knowledge and know how but Hird was the main man behind it pushing the club to try to gain an advantage over the competition in th area of sports science. As the slogan said, "Whatever it Takes". I reckon Jimmy boy came up with that one.

Tom Hoad has used practically the same hypocritical example I used.

m.perthnow.com.au/sport/more-sports/wa-s...hq61vz-1227034161117

Cashed up wealthy clubs in high profile sports are being treated far more leniently than individuals who ddon't have the might of wealthy clubs behind them. It is a fucken disgrace. Travis Casserly - 2 years for taking a Sudafed before a grand final to treat hay fever. Yet these mega rich footballers just about get off scott free for taking jabs over several months. Unbelievable.

That's the problem with the WADA code DD. It's one case fits all. Thanks for bringing that article to my attention. Very interesting to see how pathetic the system is from another perspective.
