Mind you, the WCE gig will be very attractive to a lot of aspiring coaches.

Agree one of the better gigs on offer in the AFL, money support and facilities second to none

Voss for mine, unless of course Brissy reappoint him when Leigh get on the board.

Geez this roos thing. he clearly said on foxfooty last friday when he broke the melbourne news that he would not move his family away to brisbance and that was one of the main reasons he would not go. there is no chance of him moving here.

But Perth is way better than Brisbane!

I for one am sad to see Woosha go but I do think it is for the best for both parties. He has been involved with west coast as a player or coach for 25 of the 27 years West Coast have been around so it would probably be good for him to have a break from WCE / it all.

dont rule anything out bazza. i cant see WCE rushing a decision. i think they will wait until after the grand final. Alistar Clarkson is out of contract and they may go for him. Its not like WC have to pick a coach next week. could be interesting.

think they will try Roos first, Clarkson after the GF, and if none of them work, sumich, burns or rmark williams.

if hawks stuffed up this finals series, i would think perhaps Clarkson may think the hawks may not be looking at him long term. if Kennett was still there that would be a certainty. but westcoast could offer a significant $$$ deal and he would be looking at 3-5 years.
it is unlikely but things change in this caper by the week. we all know that .

Whatever has transpired, we can only believe what we are told. Anything else is pure speculation. Worsfold can only be commended for putting the club in front of his personal wishes. The club probably knew that he would not continue, but gave him due respect by not approaching any possible applicants. It's refreshing to see ethics enter into this dog eat dog football world.
Now I await all the incoming crap from the WCE haters
