If Jimmy Hird and the Essendon Football Club are so clean, why are they squealing like pigs at the moment. If they had nothing to hide and they were clean they would let this proceed and let it be shown.

The best thing for the Essendon Footy Club would be tap Jimmy Hird on the shoulder and say look son your gonna have to take the fall for this.

Watching 360 last night, Robbo started to say something I'd been thinking earlier.

The AFL are calling a meeting in Melbourne today and have asked for all 17 presidents to attend.

Whilst the 34 page charge document is still fresh and horrifying, I wouldn't be surprised if its attempt to take all 17 presidents to a vote on the immediate future of Essendon based upon this.

Clearly Essendon are going to fight...

Its a fight they cant win, apart from diehards in their own circles the entire sporting world is turing against them, hird will end up a a pariah, and possibly bankrupt with legal costs and litigation by players.

Agree 100%..Hird has revealed his true colour..the bloke is an up himself spoilt brat,,clearly has never been told no in his life and has everyone fix his fark ups,
the bloke is a disgrace to the game and an A grade Flogger, should be banned for life and hit with all the AFL's costs for their legal costs,

What's next for him?

Of the people and organisations involved in this drama, very few if any will come out of it with their reputations in tact. Without wishing to pre-empt the ultimate findings I would have thought that Essendon and those associated with Essendon would have been far better to have admitted that their were many failings and allowed a penalty to be imposed during this footy season.

The way it is currently going with their obdurate attitude means that there probably won't be any compromise and it will be a complete win or a complete loss for Essendon and on the basis of what has been reported it is hard to believe that Essendon can possibly win in the final wash-up.

Never conflicted any media rights and won't miss any next year.
The only nothing game for Essendon is Round 23.
Gotta say I am not displeased with the result, just so long as Doc Reid gets away with it, although he didn't do anything.
