Surely the Eagles take Harley Reid? They seriously lack the presence of an absolute gun to build a side around and for mine they start with him. They've got first pick in every round plus pick 55 in the third round.

Fremantle picked up Matthew Johnson with first pick in the second round last year and he looks like being a gun.

Eagles supporters what do you want?

Gee Lachie Schultz dropped a grenade on the Dockers today by requesting a trade to Collingwood. WTF is going on?
Freo should avoid drafting anyone called Lachie in future, they don't have a good record hanging on to them

Straight swap for Tyler Brockman from Hawthorn must be on the cards. Hawks tried to poach him a couple of years ago.

how in hell is that competition even remotely an even playing field ???
still to this very day the top sides / premiers , mostly Victorian , are able to openly poach players from the bottom dwellers despite contracts being in place and a supposed fairness system being enforced
mind you there is a now quite obvious issue at Cockburn - there's simply been too many walking out over the past 15 months

DD Reid does not want to be anywhere except staying over east and has said so publicaly, so why would you want him over here knowing that once his mandatory contract period is over, he's off back home. Use that #1 pick to get 2 first round picks of players who want to commit.

Has anyone seen Curtin play? Is he just a biog kid who plays well against his own age and struggles against men or is he someone you could build a club around. WCE seem to have a fix on recruiting local players.

Hell even if you pick Read and he walks, it gets you pick 1 the following year, and of the Eagles have that sides will have to give off pick 2.

He might not want to go to WCE, but surely North Melbourne is no better, it will be one or the other

word is WCE want Curtin and the Subiaco boy
they are well aware the Victorian will go home quickly just like that SA kid did - it's a Carlton kid

It's quite a smart decision Southerner. The pies are likely to lose Taylor Adams who is a midfielder they are playing across half forward. So instead of sitting on their asses, losing him and getting a draft pick, they go and find someone that can play half forward and run through the guts and make him an offer he can't refuse. At the end of the day, they swap out a 30-year-old for a 25-year-old that plays the same role.

My mail was a number of clubs were going to chat to Shults next year knowing he could walk as a free agent due to Freo delisting him and putting him on a rookie list back in 2020, pies have just jumped in early.

Freo should ask for the pies first pick as well as Ed Allen.......However, whatever they do they need to make it good because he will walk for nothing next year that is a guarantee.
