This is just like the Essendon drug scandal. Until proven guilty, we can't determine any wrong doing. Just how I read all this.

NRL would be relieved as it has taken the spotlight off them this week.

unfortunately Milney is in for a hell of a time from the crowd from here on in (more so than usual).

Ben Cousins, Michael Johnson are 2 that also cop(copped) their fair share too about drugs but the crowd calling out rapist could be bad.

It is a very tough call to make really, if he is guilty you would hope he would be sacked immediately.....BUT innocent until proven guilty so if he wants to play then let him, he knows he will cop it from the crowd...but if he thinks it is best for him to play then let him play.

Same case as in the NRL, bloke was suspended while the case was going on....lost nearly a whole year of playing because of it, only to come out innocent.

Yes the issue is a very serious one and we need to tread carefully to get the facts and provide a quilty/not guilty, but as much as we jump on Milney (or whovere in this situation) we need to be equally aware of the other party who could be lying through their teeth to get their moment in the spotlight. This sort of thing can ruin someones life, one way or another.

The issue here should not be Milne.
It should be the Victorian police.
to re-open a case after being aquitted 9years ago seems abit rotten.
All in all shambolic. at least it appears to be.

I think the saints did the right thing here. while its very tough on a man who has not been found guilty of anything yet, the public will hound him and they know it. Milne has more important things to focus on than football. thats the reality of it. its a tough situation for both club and player. no wrong or right way to deal with it.
